Exactly one week from today—May 1st, Mayday—The Jacked Up Life officially releases.
It’s a strange and beautiful thing to feel anticipation and ache at the same time. On the heels of preaching my final sermon in a church I moved 2,500 miles to serve, I find myself once again in a place of holy uncertainty—but not hopelessness.
Because I’ve been here before.
Because my foundation is different now.
Because the same grace that jacked up my life—in the best, most transformative way—is the grace I’ve built my life upon ever since.
So What Happens in Seven Days?
On Mayday, you’ll be able to hold in your hands a book that was born out of rock-bottom moments, wrecked seasons, and relentless grace. The Jacked Up Life is for every person who’s ever thought:
“I can’t undo what I’ve done.”
“This pain is permanent.”
“God couldn’t possibly use someone like me.”
If that’s you—or someone you love—this book is more than pages and print. It’s a lifeline.
Not the kind that ignores your cracks, but one that gets under the floorboards of your life, lifts you up, and says: Let’s rebuild this right.
A New Chapter (in More Ways Than One)
In this new season of ministry—without a title on a church website—I’m stepping into something that feels both scary and sacred: a life of writing, speaking, and sharing stories that help others rebuild.
Next week, alongside the book release, I’m also launching a brand-new podcast:
The Jacked Up Life with Michael DiMarco
It’s raw. It’s real. It’s restorative. And each episode will invite you into deeper conversations about guilt, shame, redemption, and what it really looks like to live a life that’s no longer hiding from the cracks, but healed by grace.
What I’m Praying For
I’m praying this book finds its way into the hands of the hurting.
I’m praying the podcast becomes a safe space for honest stories.
I’m praying the Holy Spirit uses this new season not for my platform, but for God’s purpose in people’s lives.
Because if The Jacked Up Life can do one thing, I hope it’s this:
To prove that nothing is too broken for grace to rebuild.
Seven days from now, the book and the podcast go live.
And today, I just want to say thank you—for reading, praying, sharing, and walking with me through the jacked-up parts of the story.
The best stories, after all, are the ones that rise from the rubble.
Let’s rise together.
—Michael

Michael, I thank you for your openness and being so vulnerable to us. I’m still hurting for this but I trust and pray it leads to something pleasing to God! I miss your face and voice. 🙏🏽🦋❤️
