The Jacked Up Life Soundtrack Is Coming
Music for the messy, the healing, and the honest.
What if you could hear what healing sounds like?
What if the soundtrack to your brokenness wasn’t all the shame you have on repeat in your head—but raw lyrics, steady hope, and real presence?
I’m beyond excited to share something that’s been stirring in me since I wrote The Jacked Up Life: an original album of songs inspired by each chapter of the book.
The Jacked Up Life Soundtrack isn’t just background music. It’s a front-row seat to the process—the kind of music you can cry to, heal to, drive to, and maybe even worship through.
Each track was written to reflect the emotional arc of the book:
From "The Cracks Beneath" (Chapter 1) to "This is My Lift" (Chapter 10),
from shame and spirals to grace and purpose.
Here’s the a preview of the track that goes with Chapter 10, Jack Up Your Purpose. The song is called “This is My Lift.”
“You let me hit bottom so I could look up.”
I love this track!
Ranging from pop, country, and even anthem rock, these songs aren’t just for readers of the book.
These tracks are for:
The person who wears a mask on Sunday and wonders if anyone sees what’s underneath.
The one who keeps it together at work, but wonders what it’s all really for.
The tired soul who’s ready to stop patching the cracks and finally pour something new.

Why This Matters
This soundtrack is me saying, I see you.
Not the version you curate—the version you bury.
And it’s allowing you to see me too. I’ve longed for an opportunity to share my love of song writing but couldn’t until now because of a lack of access to artists and production facilities. But with so many advances in technology and tools for the musical novice, this wordsmith finally has an outlet and I’m anxiously stepping out with this release. Because I believe healing doesn’t start with pretending we’re fine or not taking the risk to do something meaningful.
It starts when we name the mess, lay down the mask, and trust that grace still holds.
Let these pop, country, and anthem songs be a companion—whether you're reading the book, rebuilding your life, or just trying to breathe through the weight of the week.
If the book helped name your pain,
I pray the music helps carry it.
Thanks in advance for listening.
Thanks in advance for healing out loud.
And as always—stay jacked up (in the best way possible).
